For over 50 years, Construction Forms, Inc. has been a leader in the development and manufacturing of concrete pumping systems and accessories. The company was founded in 1969, with the goal of engineering and producing a complete line of concrete pumping systems and accessories for the rapidly growing concrete pumping market. As pump manufacturers improved the performance and reliability of pump trucks, a small group of entrepreneurs came together in Cedarburg, Wisconsin to found Construction Forms, Inc. (Con Forms). The team quickly set out to refine delivery and placing systems used to convey concrete from the pump to the point of placement. The company addressed the needs of standard pouring applications as well as more specialized applications, such as high-rises, tunnels, bridges, and large deck pours.
A dedication to excellence in product performance and customer service has positioned Construction Forms as an industry leader in the U.S. and around the world.
In 2002, the company was first established in Canada as a joint business venture with South Korean-based Jun Jin Heavy Industries, solidifying our presence in the North American market. By the end of the first fiscal year, we made great strides in establishing ourselves in pump sales, and within a few years, we grew to become a leading brand of concrete pumps in Canada and the United States.
In 2006 we expanded into the United States opening office and warehouse space in Skippack, Pennsylvania. By having strategically built operations on both the east and west coasts of North America, we grew substantially in both sales and service. During the severe economic downturn of 2008, we drove activity by expanding our parts and service departments to cater to customers with all brands of pumps; as well as focusing on repairing and refurbishing all makes and models of pumps.
With a solidified presence on the east coast, we opened a state-of-the-art parts and service facility in Linwood, Pennsylvania in 2016. This new location, situated right off the I-95 corridor on the Pennsylvania/ Delaware border, improves access and makes picking up parts, and dropping of pumps for service, fast and convenient.
The recent completion of upgrades to our head office marked an important part of broader plans to improve capacity and provide excellence in service to our customers. The warehouse now features an additional 3,800 square feet for the parts department and another building on site that boasts a second paint and sandblast facility with six additional bays for finishing pumps.
